Ever since the new patch, I've been having this weird issue where Royals keeps running in the background even though I've closed the clients. Spoiler: Task Manager I'm not entirely sure if this ONLY happens while trying to access APQ, but that is where I start to notice it. I get weird lag that I NEVER had before this patch, as in my whole PC will freeze/lag. Not just the clients. If I look at my task manager it will say that my CPU usage has doubled over just a few seconds and that I'm using 3-5 MapleRoyals clients rather than just 2. After closing those clients - which temporarly solves my issue - I still have these 6 MapleRoyals related things going on in the background. If I force them close, then I can access the game again. But as soon as I've done another APQ and try to enter again I get the same problem. I know that other people have been experiencing this issue both before and after the patch, but this is the first time that I've been seeing it for myself.
For apq I have had that issue forever also had the client still run and needed closing in the task manager after each apq run. So for me that's a very old issue, happening in both XP and windows 8, never found a solution besides restarting the game and then closing the game in the task manager.
I found that the lag after APQ happen if i have windows 98/me compatibility. So, when i have to apq i choose Vista o another windows, and i change to 98/me later to avoid the incognito error :S.
