It's not a failure though, people are really willing to pay around 500m for that shield. From what I have seen at least, several people are trying to gear their magician characters up to above average.
Well yeah to the perfectionist perhaps it isn't a failure. Assuming perfect scrolling, they could achieve another whopping 6 int in comparison to the average 2int clean versions(heck u could even get 3int ones at 5m), which in most cases would not even affect the number of hits they take(one, if you can afford to splurge like this i assume you can 1h) to effectively leech, so its a failure in my book. And of course, to the bossing-attacker mages, forgive me for not including you guys as part of this discussion

Oh hey, I bought this! Considering these shields are limited time only, they're pretty valuable. I bought the first one in FM for 150m, but the value quickly rose to about 800m. I'm a bit embarrassed about my early P/C on godly clean Maple Magician Shields on forums, haha! My bad~ But anyway, there's a funny story to your SS that makes this an accomplishment more than anything. That day, there was a smega seller auctioning off an 8 int clean Maple Magician Shield. A/W was 500m and he mentioned that that was the lowest price in FM. I was competing with attenuation to buy it, but as we were bidding, I stopped at 800m and he bought it. I owled afterwards and bought the shield you saw. So I saved 250m or so. Rip attenuation. XD If you're curious, I've been 30ing a few 8 ints. Fail, boom, fail. I have a spare and if it comes down to it, I'll WS 10% all ten slots. ^~^ Too rich to care? I wouldn't say that. I'm decently funded, but I don't just throw meso away like how your comment kinda sorta implied. People who main mage classes like me just have different goals. As a bishop, I see that 1 hitting skeles is where many bishops stop. A few go for 1 hitting petris. But after hitting that goal, some keep going to be the strongest mage in game. You may not share my point of view, but please don't think mine is something that belongs in a failure thread. In any case, happy Mapling!
