Why do you think you got banned?: honestly have no idea
Ban message when attempting to log in: banned for partying with hacker
What GM banned you (optional): sila

Which person was even hacking and how was I supposed to know they were hacking? I spawned into a map and was not doing anything. Then a random person that i had invited to the guild earlier invited me to a party and since I had nothing else to do I just accepted it and sat on the rope and hsed them. Then the guy said they he had to go and i said okay and ttyl then i went to the FM. At what point was I supposed to know someone was hacking?

I sat there for at least 3-5 minutes watching Sharper attack, it was more than obvious his attacks were way too fast as well as reaching too far.
However, We'll discuss your involvement and get back to you.

I don't have a bowman, so I wouldn't know how far or how fast their abilities are. It might be obvious to you since you are a GM and see it all the time but as a normal player I honestly didn't even know the difference.

After further discussion, since you weren't directly benefiting from the party in any way, we'll reduce your ban to 3 days as you should've realized something was up about the attack speed and the damage being too fast and too high for his level. Especially since you're a 4th job character. 4k damage and higher at level 59 is impossible without hacks. Next time if you suspect even anything is remotely weird about someone's damage or attack speed, ~gm it and we'll take a look. It's better to be safe and accidentally report someone who might or might not be hacking, than to stay in a party with them.
