Character Name: Slayerelite Last Thing You Did: Stand in tree map talking with friends Why do you think you got banned? : I was standing in the tree map with a bunch of friends and said "Ayy we all up in dis bitch, let's take over this map!" and "the cake is a liee!" and I got instantly banned. I didn't use any racial slurs or curse AT anyone (I'm actually really nice to people in game), i was just hyped for tree then got banned. My friend previously was cursed AT and harassed in his own map and his forum post was dismissed by a GM saying he needs to watch what he posts cause he's wasting time, yet I was instantly banned when I didn't use any racial slurs or curse AT anyone. So is this "ban for profanity" dependent on just how the individual GM is feeling that day/time when they see you? Seems overtly fickle and unfair imho. You were asked to stop cursing and being inappropriate a couple times and continued to do, saying things like "Lick my frosting bitches". A few other people in the same map were also told to please stop being inappropriate, and action was taken against whoever broke the same rules as well. It's not necessarily a matter of being too picky or sensitive, but there's no need to be inappropriate like that in all chat. If you wanna joke around like that with your friends, by all means, but not everyone wants to see it nor do we need to.
I honestly didn't see anyone ask me or anyone else around me to stop joking around, if I had seen it I would've, my friends and I were just trying to have fun and definitely not anyone else's expense. I'll have to be more aware where I joke around with friends, thanks for the quick reply!
