So I've been wanting to play this server since 2 days, and now I decided to try this again. What has been preventing me to do so is this:

    and

By the way it is about the client that I'm talking about.

So I'd like to know why this is happening, and if I should of trust the program, then why.

    Thanks in advance.

The program is totally safe, don't worry. It's a false positive, ie it is wrongly detected as a virus.

The problem is, why so many detections? Also many antiviruses detect the same type of malware, which concerns me.

This happened to many people, myself included, and there are many threads exactly like this. I think I made one too when I first started lol.
No one has ever gotten a virus from the client

If you scan any v62 MapleStory Private server client you will have those false positives appear in any virus scanner. I have been playing this server since June and I have had no issues at all.

Simply put, it is because there is a unencrypted IP address which has been edited into the client. The IP is required for the client to connect to the server. Some virus protection softwares think that the IP is part of a trojan. And as Kenny says, most MS private servers have this same issue.

There are many threads on the forum regarding this. Some websites like the one below also show if people have voted the file to be safe or unsafe. The link below shows 9/9 for safe.
