This is the most difficult thing I've ever done, at least in maple. Took a while, finished the first stage all happy and dandy. Then I reached my worst fear PLATFORM stage - I can barely jump those logo things at lpq. Tried level 1 of stage 2 for 20 minutes clear while having fun, then comes the real worst nightmare for me, an almost IMPOSSIBLE platform stage.. I kept trying for 2 hours, while the first 30-40 minutes having fun and laughing at my failures. Then as it kept going I also felt frustrated after an hour an half. Then it went from an hour an half to 3 hours, I was so desperate and upset and rekt, no HP potions whatsoever, actually called someone I met 3 minutes before starting the challenge and he kept encouraging me and giving me confident, then after 3 hours of total failure, I asked him to bring me potions. HE did brought me x400 of +300 HP white potions. Then he tried to help me, but again, apparently either I suck at platforming so bad, or is that the hardest platforms EVA. So we tried for 30 minutes, mostly me falling and him losing patience.. Then after he left claiming he isn't good at that either, I watched a very good detailed video, basically every move and every jump and where to jump was very precise, almost everyone in the video comments, said: "omg thank you" "I finally beat it, thanks" And I'm apparently still stuck even with this decorated video.. WHY WHY can't I beat it? Does the platform Gods hate me? I literally am broke from the despair of almost 3 and half hours attempting this ridiculous challenge, all for the damn Zhelm, Seriously, if it's bad I'm gonna kill someone.. So that brings me to the request: Can someone give me tips or maybe help me ingame, like me following him? It'll take a while but hopefully I can finish it 1 day, and when I do OH when I do I think I'll orgasm.. NO KIDDING! Thanks for advices and tips, and if you wanna add and help me, feel free to add: SupremeSpeed a Level 51 Assassin, who's apparently terrible at platforming! Also, thank you for reading the whole text, if you actually did!
Think of jump quest as a huge problem, and you've broken it down into smaller problems to solve step by step or rather, obstacle by obstacle, platform by platform. There are multiple "safe spots" in the jump quest, platforms or ropes that you wouldn't get hit or knocked down by anything. Whenever you reached one of these spots, take a breather and observe and learn the next few obstacles - their moving patterns, their timings, if there's a sweet spot where all the surrounding obstacles "moved" at the same time. Aim for the perfect timing to sneak yourself through them. Don't just rush through them like a wild hippo. It's okay to fall, each time you fall, learn why and what happened that caused you to fall, and avoid making the same mistake again. The jump quest is your enemy, you should study it and work it to your favour, not let it work you, make you frustrated and quit oh. and please don't kill someone over a pixelated helmet, do it for at least a million dollars, okay?
