Get rid of it. It is making INT scrolls to pricey. Tired of paying 19mil for 60% scrolls and 20+ for gfma. People should just get over the low hp and play smart. Especially hermits, they are distant attackers so keep your distance...

The price of int scrolls and int gear bugs me from a mage perspective too, but people are perfectly entitled to HP wash if they want.

Lol this is such a stupid thread IMO. Pricing isn't an issue it's your way of obtaining that kind of revenue to constantly buy scrolls. I have a 140 I/L mage that has items that may mount to over 2b mesos. Yeah scrolling is lucky, but how did I manage to get all the 100s of millions of mesos for making my items? By taking time to gach/market. This is how it's always been since 2005 Maplestory Global. So learn how to and stop whining.

P.S. 19m/20m is rather cheap than when I played, consider yourself lucky.

Mage scrolls where 40-50m when I started off, in a time where money was even harder to come by..

Could you enlighten me please as to how we could get rid of HP washing even if we wanted to?

Yes, this would take away AP resets, giving others who use them for other purposes (myself, for example: I'm currently resetting my DEX because I'm improving my equips) a big disadvantage. I don't see how you'd want to remove such a key game mechanic.

And Hermits don't HP wash for grinding; they HP wash so they can survive bosses.

Even if this was too happen, how are you going to reverse everyone who has already washed? and the people who have spent literally billions of mesos doing so?

And if you are not, then how is it fair to the new people starting out?

Complaining how a 'free market' responds to supply and demand. GG

I do feel you on the HP washing thing. I think somehow it should be harder to do, just because it was REALLY hard to do in GMS. That doesn't look promising though, since I don't have a clue as to how that could be done while keeping the AP reset's intended use and value intact.

All I have to say for you man... if it were easy, everyone would do it. Take some pride in knowing you probably beat out a lot of others who can't even afford the scrolls in the first place. You can beat this mage struggle, I know you can. /respect

I did play when INT scrolls went for 40-50mil. Besides ,if you cannot handle a class with low hp you should not play that class. That's just my philosophy :D

    Easy, Code in this limitation
Warriors can only put sp into str/dex/hp/mp
Thieves- can only put sp into str/luk/dex/hp/mp
Magicians- can only put sp into int/luk/hp/mp
Bowman- can only put sp into dex/str/hp/mp
Pirates- can only put sp into STR/dex/hp/mp.
I understand their are common equips which require certain stats i.e black umbrella requires 6/6/6/6, all you have to do is wear a pendant or scroll anything with different stat scrolls. AP resets shouldn't be affected by this because we all need those :D

Send me the pastebin link of the code you write to make this "easy" modification. The idea or solution may be easy, but the code is not necessarily so.

Like others' have said above. It's not feasible to be implemented. And it has always been a part of MapleStory. I don't see any reason for it to be removed.

I don't see how this will prove your point in 'lowering the cost of INT scrolls'. Without the ability to add into INT, won't it cause more competition to scroll INT equips? = higher prices in scrolls.

    You mean AP? f6
And how does this even work, because people can still wash like that.. they just cause use base int.

So how does this fix HP washing exactly? Wouldn't that make the prices jump up even more, since people can't put in base INT for more HP?

I think I'll take high int scroll/gear prices in preference to completely altering the way that assigning ap works!
