Stinky; well worn; pungent, these are adjectives that we commonly pair with the footwear we call shoes. And it is fitting, because the things truly are are disgusting at times. But despite this, there is much to be gained in studying how we scroll them. Whether it is to gain an advantage in battle against the enemies we fight or to just keep away from them altogether by running away, ALL people can benefit by reading the contents of this post. For although there was a dark time when we knew nothing about proper ways to scroll, and could only weep as mages and assassins zipped past us, those days are forever over! For I, Foxen, have done what few would dare to do, and spent years investigating how to properly scroll, determining an items weaknesses in person so you don't have to!

Now, as I'm sure you must know, Maplers and scrolls have always gone hand in hand. So it was at my own great peril that I put my wallet in the vicinity of said scrolls, and followed their enchanting patterns quite closely. It was dreadful, I can guarantee you that, because if I ever bankrupted myself, I would be forced to defend myself against other much less reputable beggars! But when the time came, I succeeded! Though scrolls tend to be quite unpredictable, I, Foxen, was able to deftly manipulate their stats and control them with my own power! How did I do this, you ask? Why, by following the very principles you are about to read in this post!
So, how was I able to scroll these boots so well, anyway? Well, on that particularly eventful evening, I had managed to arm myself with a collection of different scrolls I had just bought from Rinsenpai's shops. And it should be said, dear reader: that her scrolls are truly the best! But more than that, I was also able to scroll my shoes by taking advantage of one of their many physical disadvantages: Shoes, as well as being Stinky, well worn, and pungent, also tend to be quite weak.

"Good heavens," most good people would say, "how would you possibly divine such a thing, Ms. Foxen?" Well, dear reader, it is quite like this: although shoes appear most frightful to scroll and stubborn at that, the truth of it is, the average one stands a nice 90% chance of resistance against certain scrolls. I was able to divine this by heroically using several of them and measuring their chances using an abacus I bought at Rinsenpai's amazing emporium. Knowing this, I can only laugh when a shoe refuses to be scrolled. because I know that a woman such as myself who has nothing to fear from a cobblers creation that she knows so much about.

"But Ms. Foxen," you might be thinking, "the average scroll for shoes is fine, but what about me? How could I increase my chances and enchant these pesky facestompers?" Well that, dear reader, is an excellent question! Aside from buying dozens of speed scrolls, I can recommend you something I know you'll love: my latest tonic, otherwise known as the Luck Increasing Potion(tm)! That's right, on top of being an explorer, writer, swordswoman, and cleric, I, Foxen, am also an alchemist! And with my latest invention, you too can run at blazing speed, braving the darkness with unparalleled vigor as I can! So the next time you're in the freemarket of any major town on this side of the mortal realm, make sure to check your local apothecary for my Luck Increasing Potion(tm)!

It was a perfect godly +9 shoe when it dropped, used a 30% and 4 60's, only one failed.

Honestly, it's probably not worth much. Attacker classes are more concerned about damage than mobility, so they wouldn't use shoes other than Facestompers or Red Christmas socks. When attackers need mobility, they use mounts which are more convenient that equipping two different shoes back and forth. As a mage, I'm interested in shoes with jump and speed, but since I have Teleport, I'm more concerned with the former than the latter. So throw your shoes in shop for 50m. Someone might buy them, but you'll probably have to sit on them for quite a while. XD

If you want to play around with jump and speed for shoes, scroll Violet Snowshoes! With the godly system, they can go up to 11 jump and 11 speed clean.

I'll keep them for now, as I don't have the funds to buy anything remotely useful in terms of shoes for cleric, but ill keep you in mind if i want to sell.
