i guess that depends on how easily we can kill pb, also need to remember that you are suposed to be able to level up these items which could give an incredible boost on its own. hence rendering all current end game weapons useless.
Wouldn't say anything else becomes useless not everyone can afford the perfect weapon anyways. A reverse lampion (claw) has 4 higher attack than a Dragon Sleeve, and then you have to be lucky for the claw to level with the maximum potential to get 6 extra attack, so to get a perfect claw from Pink Bean would be quite impossible, and of course you can't sell the weapon after equipping it so that's a setback, those are not good odds. It would be very interesting to see how well we can do Pink Bean, a good party of 4-5 attackers kills HT body in like 70 min~ or so,
if we dont think about the fact that pink bean will be impossible, then a timeless lampion which is (6attack higher than sleeve btw) at max lvl could give up to 10 extra attack and 10 extra luk. obviously it wont be handed out like candy on halloween but it would force some people to get rid of current perfectly scrolled weapons just because these weapons have way greater potential. Also at max level "When the final level of this item is reached, there's a 10% chance the skill Triple Throw will level up by 1." The fact that you cant trade after equiping, since most ppl dont perfect weapons to sell them so i dont know why that would matter. Since the weapons will mostlikely be quite hard to get. the people who get them is probably not going to get it for a char that they will just abandon when they hit lvl 200. a good party would kill ht in way less than 70min... I would even consider 70min mainbody slow.
I honestly think the mindset of "this will make current end game equips useless" is what's going to kill this server in the long run. I am totally for the addition of timeless/reverse weapons from pink bean.
In terms of adding custom content to the server, I don't have much of an opinion on what we should avoid other than Theme Dungeons. That's honestly the only thing that bothers me about GMS, I don't even mind the P2W factor about it. Every time a new character is created in GMS, you'll always have to go through the exact same process, Ellinel Fairy Academy, Gold Beach, Riena Strait, etc. This kills off the difficulty of classes that are terrible Pre-4th Job and shine later, as the Theme Dungeons are adjusted to make them playable for every class. I'm just mentioning this because I remember seeing mention of Mushroom Castle, and Theme Dungeons were PBB. I know there's the argument that we can choose to avoid this content, but the exp gain is absurdly high, which sort of gravitates everyone toward doing them, regardless of how boring they may be. I'm pretty sure in GMS, there are Theme Dungeons that carry on to about 135, Crimsonheart Castle if I remember correctly. This sort of just kills off the whole factor of every class having to play to their strengths and making playing each one different from the other.
I 100% agree with this. I believe that if PB comes out, we should take it down un-nerfed. If a nerf were necessary, i'd suggest increasing the time limit by 15-30 minutes. Any further nerfs would make it less of a challenge imo.
