Hi, I personally LOVE the JQ's Royals has created and especially the latest one. The Halloween one was great as well. I think it's an amazing addition to this game that I would even do without reward. It would be even greater if it were unglitchable with a leader board. So my question is, why remove them? Why not keep it a part of Royals to have these custom JQ's (but without event rewards)? To evaluate my statement, I can only say that it's something that makes Royals unique, and I hope to see more of them in the future.
I made the anniversary JQ, and I'd actually love to try and keep it available year round as long as I can fix the glitches first. It really really upset me to see so many people just glitching their way through the map, because I spent so long working on the JQ itself. There was just no possible way for me to predict every possible glitch, even with 3-4 people helping me out along the way. Now I know what to fix, I'd like to do so maybe by next patch, if we do end up putting them back available year round.
I agree that the JQ's are really cool. However they are event JQ's and I feel if they were available all year round it would make them not so exciting to have if we decide to reuse them for a future event.
I think a really cool idea is if there is an NPC. When you click on it, it could show something like this: Jump Quests Halloween 2015 3rd Anniversary etc etc or something like that! I think it would be pretty neat to have all the Jump Quests available. Plus it sort of, in a way, shows how far we've come as a server! Idk just an idea
After giving it a second thought, I realized you're right. It would take the challenge and excitement away from having a ''time pressure''. I was actually hoping for being on the top of the leader board and felt pressured by time. But that would be taken away if it was allowing us to do so all year round. Aside, I don't know for a fact if this matters, but I'm not as excited by other Jump Quests that already exists. I just hope to see more of them in the future!
