Hello, I recently came across some critical points on how to not get banned. If you have been banned in the past or do not wish to be ever banned, then read this post with the utmost importance.

    1. Ignore

This is the key point to not ever get banned. Not speaking does not violate any rules. If someone politely asks you a question, be it quests, parties, buddies, etc., just ignore them. If someone gets upset and starts calling names or attack your monsters, you may take screenshots and report them. They will almost certainly get banned.

    2. Remind of the owner

If someone speaks to you, be sure to ignore them. But DO tell them to change channel while using the ~mapowner function to remind them who the boss of the map is. If they do not change channel immediately, tell them that they will be reported even if they are not doing anything. By doing so, they may feel upset and start calling names or attack your monsters, which then you may take screenshots and report. Remember, this is the only thing you will say, to change channels or get reported.

Now if you ever do get banned, here are some things that may benefit you.

    1. Do not ban appeal unless it's the GM's mistake

The ban appeal will go to the GM who banned you. Even if you think the punishment was unjust or extreme, do not try. You will get nowhere. You will only get frustrated and lash out which will earn you warnings.

    2. Let it be

Just sit out the ban. GMs are proud people who will not tolerate even the slightest "uncivil" remarks. Just accept the fact that some systems are corrupted and will not change just because you may have been unjustly banned.

I will end the tips and guides on how to not get banned. I hope you take these points into consideration when you do not want to get banned or whenever you just feel like acting like an asshole.
