Should I start playing again?

I stopped playing because the community was TOO MUCH butthurt, like, charge 1 extra mesos on a scroll? reported. you made a wrong build? reported. you didnt report that dude because he walked on our map? reported.
is it still like this or the game is better? should I give it a shot?

 

Well, I only recently joined again...I don't really remember the server being that bad. I've had mostly positive experiences lately. A few scammers and KSers, but overall it's a pleasant time to be playing. =)

I'm sorry to see you felt this way; personally I haven't been in a similar situation so I can't really see your point.
For me my MR experience has been great for the last 3 years and I haven't been met with much toxicity at all.

 

There's no point in coming back. You will remain empty on the inside.

I played a BR server back in 2013 and now i'm back on this one in 2016. I'm just wondering if the 4x exp will be too little for me especially since there is no 2x cards in the shop.

 

I gave up on this community a while ago.

Pity, this server has such potential. But the playerbase ruins it completely.

 

So far the community has open arms in my experience. I'm still new here so I don't know many people. I hope you're wrong. =x

 

I second this, wipe your friends list, start clean and try again if you felt there was too much drama. I've had pretty much a 100% niceness quota being met spare the people in Gs2.... a lot of people in gs2 are cranky twats, but hey, that's what you get when you have overly populated maps, but i digress.

that's the playerbase in a nutshell

 

i already found a new server way better, less lag nice community and 24/7 GM support, theres ALWAYS at least one online.

 

I feel like the server and the game are what you make of it. I've been here two years, and sure I've run into my fair share of idiots and jerks but those kind of people follow you anywhere anyway. At the same time I've made long lasting friendships with people who I'm glad to have met and enjoy every minute of spending time with them.

 

My worry here is the exp.... 4x exp seems kind of slow. Like, how long would it take to even get to lv. 160 here? 3 Months?

 

If you're looking for instant gratification , Royals isnt what you want. Nostalgia in our case means before big bang, before the EXP curve. Before it was easy to level to 200 in 2 days, before 4th job meant absolutely nothing to anyone anymore. 4x exp is a nice balance. It's hard enough to keep you busy and give you a goal to work for. It's just easy enough so you dont get tired of it and give up, so you don't experience everything right away and go "now what?".
