If you are able to read the previous chat logs, I told him that he could just leech as long as he HS'd. I honestly thought that he was just sitting there HSing me, until the GM came in. I partied with him for the first time today, and he was actively killing mobs at the time. When you partied with a botter, you were receiving the advantages from him. That's why you also got banned and receive the same punishment as the botter.
He was attacking when I first partied with him. As time progressed, I had told him that it was okay to just leech as long as he hs'd me, so I could get the full exp. I honestly wasn't aware that he was botting. I apologize for any inconvenience, but please review the chat log and even see how long he was inactive.
