Spoiler i really don't know how i feel about fantasia. it went from dark fantasy to fairy fantasy real quick
I personally like the change of pace. Spoiler Give Guts a bit of a break, ya know? Spoiler And the thought that Caska can be recovered is nice. Also, it seems to be a theme for, the theme to somewhat change. The transition out of the Golden Age arc was pretty darn quick too.
Pokemon anime is getting ridiculously hype right now. Ash just got his 8th Gym badge (GREAT BATTLES TO WATCH BY THE WAY) and the League is STACKED(Shota - Sceptile, Alain - Charizard X, someone with Charizard Y, etc). Ash is really bad ass this region too. I'm so excited to see Ash-Greninja in action in its more perfected form... Pokemon has put so much more attention into their battles now. They account for typing, physical or special moves, Pokemon passives, items, and even their in-game stats. It's really amazing how far this anime has gone from its season one shenanigans to this amazing work of art. To those who haven't seen Pokemon in a while, I recommend you watching the Diamond and Pearl League battles. Pokemon Anime is reaching that golden stage again, and it's amazing...
Charlotte is an absolutely amazing anime! Finished it in 2 days. It's definitely a rollercoaster of emotions and feels though, but also an excellent blend of action and comedy. 10/10 would recommend!
Can't be too sure of how good the anime adaption is since I tend to only read manga, but I've been re-reading Honey and Clover and am about to start watching the anime. So many deep thoughts in the story. Besides that, I've been watching Gintama on and off for a while now, unfortunately haven't seen many people list this so far on this thread
My MAL is /kDiverse if anyone is interested. Currently watching most of this season's releases and some others that I left to binge (also recommend them all); - ReLIFE (completed): Enjoyed it, although I think it could be better if the anime's focus was on mostly the MC, but the MC's development is interesting to say the least. All 13 episodes were released at the same time, easy binge - My Hero Academia (1/13): Interesting start. Purposely left this one out to binge with friends. - Orange (1/13): Although the 'mechanics' bug me, it should be ignored. The concept is really interesting and I'm sure 1 cour is enough for good pacing. - Re:Zero (14/23?): I almost dropped this anime because I thought it would purely be moe/harem. I won't deny it's there but the anime keeps you on the edge. - Shokugeki no Souma Season 2 (1/13): The first season was amazing, I went in completely blind and I was surprised, one of my all-time favourites behind Code Geass & Clannad. However, the pacing of Season 2 is too fast, was hoping for 2 cour instead of a single one. - Shinsekai yori (25/25): Completed this anime a while ago but will be re-watching soon. I would recommend this anime a lot, it's not a very known anime. However, there is 'something' that happens in an episode and I plead you not to drop it because you were turned off by it (if you do pick it up). Drops? - Beserk (2016): The CGI/animation was terrible. Pacing felt a bit too quick. Going to give it a few more episodes, but it's not looking too good.
Yeah, ranked 1 on a few websites as well. They should have hand drawn it and given it a few more cours instead of a single cour and CGI.
Shameless second for Gintama - I've watched all the released OVAs, seasons, and movies. One of the greatest mixes of comedy and dramatic storytelling As for this season's anime... If you were a fan of Usagi Drop, then Amaama to Inazuma seems like a good anime this season. Any longstanding fans of D Gray Man will be very excited for the 2nd season (and if you haven't seen the first season, I recommend it!). 91 Days seems like a good pick for fans of Baccano.
Definitely something with Kabaneri? Something like that. Its from the creators of Attack on Titan. If you liked that, you'll like this one!
Kabaneri had so much potential to be a great anime, until a certain character was introduced and everything went to shit. The anime literally needed more zombies. Unfortunately, if you like SnK, you will be disappointed.
Loving this anime so far, but at this point I seriously recommend waiting until this season finishes airing to watch. Also watching Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma as it comes out. It's so addicting! The only anime I'm watching now that isn't brand new is Katanagatari, and I'm loving it. The story is written by the same guy who wrote the (unrelated) Monogatari series, one of the best anime series I've ever seen. I'm about halfway through Katanagatari. It's 12 episodes long, but the episodes are 50 minutes long. It's basically two seasons worth of anime. I highly recommend it!
Not a big fan of anime but I think I've watched the Tales of Symphonia series like 6 times already lol. That game had some of my best memories as a kid. Haven't gotten to play in ages because my old ass gamecube broke down lol. * ~ ~ s o m a n y f e e l z ~ ~ *
