Hey guys, I'm new to MapleRoyals and I could use a bit of help. As you can see in the title, I'm having problems with an Invalid Pointer error code. It's really frustrating as well. I enjoy the game so far, and would love to fix the problem. So, how did you guys fix your problem? Thanks in advance!
The invalid pointer error code occurred to me when a priest or bishop would use Mystic Door in my map. I can't think of any other instances. To my knowledge, the Mystic Door glitch SHOULD be fixed. Please explain exactly when you get the invalid pointer error code and I can help you better.
Yeah sorry bout that. Shoulda been specific as to when it happens. So I'm a noob literally just started like yesterday. Anyways when going into job instructors rooms is when I D/C. Like when I go into Grendel's or Dances with Balrog's rooms I sometimes D/C. Just don't want it to happen during a PQ or something.
Welcome to the server!!! And I've heard this happening to players recently. It seems to be happening when the training quest series from their first job instructors are in progress and they go to see their first job instructor. At times, they get the invalid pointer error. I'm not sure exactly what causes this, but this issue is temporary, occurring a maximum of four invalid pointer errors as the player goes to their first job instructor to complete each training quest. So don't worry about it happening in a PQ or anything! You'll be just fine. <3
