This is will prevent many people from accidentally wasting their pots, therefore saving mesos, making grinding more efficient, and potentially saving people from deaths.
This shouldn't be an issue to anyone at all as you can set your auto HP/MP to a low level, this isn't worth implementing and would be a waste of time in my opinion. There are far more important issues the server should be focusing on. this would be one of the LEAST worries from all players.
The following works for pet auto MP too, of course. When you have pet auto HP on the max setting, dragging the slider all the way to the right, the pet doesn't use the pot you set when you HP is at all. If you look at the gauge when you put pet auto pot on the max setting, you see there's a slight margin between the right boundary of the slider and the white bar that represents your HP bar. So the pet auto pot max setting isn't 100%. It's about 95%. So the game doesn't have this issue in the first place. Try it.
I think hindstrust is not talking about autopot, but rather manual potting. I agree that this change would be petty. I think the majority of people would agree with me that they don't care about accidentally wasting a pot or two. In fact, it would become less convenient in certain situations: if you are surrounded by mobs and you need to quickly empty out 1 or 2 slots in your inventory, you can just use up some pots instead of having to find a safe rope to hang out and drop something.
Oh that's a good point, Joe. I kept thinking of pet autopot, not manual potting. XD Anyway, changing the game isn't really necessary. Saving a few pots is such a small quality of life improvement that it should be given trivial priority, if any at all.
