im just wondering why its 4x why not 1x like the original maple we all loved, after 10 years of missing maple i came back for the nostalgia why not just make it 1x? whats the difference :O

 

With semi-easily accessible nx through the MTS and rep mules, 4x was pretty easy to achieve anyway.

 

let's be real. No one really wants 1x exp.

Old maple was cool and all but trying to get to level 30 on 1x is and will always be torture

 

It's like the nostalgia, but with slightly less PTSD.

 

1x was fun in the original MapleStory because there was a much larger community to interact with. No matter how big Royals gets, it will never come close to touching the size of the old MapleStory serveres.

 

Theres been 1x and 2x servers but those didnt turn out nearly as good as this server. The way i see it, a slightly higher rate like 4x attracts more casual players who dont like to spend years grinding for levels, and allows for a bigger community which to me makes the server more nostalgic than anything
