I've been using my 12 Attack Grey Work Glove for a while now, and while I've invested in Pink Gaia Capes and Facestompers, I've never bothered with investing in a pair of Stormcaster Gloves. I've seen a lot of people that are nearing end game (17X - 18X), and their SCGs still sit at either an identical attack to my Work Gloves, or are about 3 W.Att higher (I know there are still many people with 20+ Atk SCGs), and I wanted to know when I should bother making this upgrade. I was sort of hoping to skip gloves and transition into trying to get a much better weapon than my current knuckle, but I'm not sure which is more important. My current weapon is a 11 STR, 102 Attack King Cent, and I'm level 163 (about to be lv 164), so I go on Horntail runs on a consistent basis. I know I'll have to get these gloves eventually and if I chose to perfect a weapon, it would be a much more time and money consuming process, but that 3 or 4 Weapon Attack is extremely annoying to not have in a completionist sense, nor does it seem worthwhile for the amount of money I'd have to spend on a SCG with higher attack than my glove right now. I'm not even too concerned about perfecting the weapon, I'd be fine with any improvement, so I'm not sure which one of the two I should invest in first.
Personally I'd go for a 15 attack glove and start saving up for perfecting a weapon. Getting 3 more attack for about 1b more isn't too bad. On average you'll spend 3x more for every 5+ attack scroll landing when you're perfecting your weapon. So it makes sense to get the gloves now.
Does the 3 attack make a significant difference, or is it more of a "Get it done sooner than later" sort of situation? Either way I was leaning more toward the SCG side now, but I'm just curious as to how much that would effect my range.
It won't increase your range by 1000 but it'll make a noticeable effect and since it's a relatively cheap upgrade its worth it.
