So I tried the troubleshoot and also disabled my antivirus and firewall, I even tried a bunch of other things like reinstalling the client, and the same message pops up every time. I am also on a Windows 8 OS. I've been working on this for a couple hours and now I really can't just give up. I hope you guys can help me, thanks.
Are you playing from home or perhaps school dormitory? Some organisations' wifi prevent unknown connections for security purposes. You can try using your phone's 3g/4g network to connect as a work around.
