Hey everyone , I am not quite sure about you all , but personally I used to hunt mini bosses the ENTIRE time on GMS and that's what I enjoyed doing most of my time. Thing is I hunted a mini boss today and waited like an hour only to check forums and find out that the respawn time of snowman is like 4 hours , instead of 15 minutes ? and same goes for seruf which is 15 minutes as well , on the original server. I understand the concern of the admins to keep the gameplay as fair as possible but this is a turn off to lots of players who seek the classic old fashioned maplestory ,so I had to bring it up , we have less than half the channels that were available on GMS and only x2 the rate yet the spawn rate of snowman is like what ? x16 longer ? I'd like to ask you guys for a favor, to lower the drop rate of mini bosses to be x1 and their spawn time x4 at max,If you're concerned about the economy, the players are getting enough scrolls from gachapon IMO, so it will not have any impact IMO, especially since you removed chaos scrolls from the drop-list already, you may lower the nx drops from the mini bosses as well, in my opinion more tries is more fun . HH and bigfoot are pretty fair but other mini bosses are off the line, it's not quite fair towards low lvl players who wanna make some cash & have fun I hope you will understand our point of view and where we come from Thank you for your hard work and dedication in advance , I am sure you will gain utmost sincerity and respect from players upon looking into this issue !!
I did see it , I bet you, I can farm 5 GFA 60% in less than 10 hours at omega sector. I did that before , it can easily be done at M chronos as well, it does lower scrolls farming a bit but it's not that effective in my opinion... I just killed 4 mini bosses fully on 8 channels before creating the thread after reset and I didn't get one worthy scroll ..... kinda destroys the purpose of mini bosses.
Area bosses still drop nx, and increasing boss spawn rates would increase nx drops which isn't necessary nor would it be good for the economy. Many people farm bosses not for drops but for the nx.
Since when were the re-spawn times 15 minutes long on the original server? I remember waiting in mini-boss maps for hours in GMS back in the day. In GMS today the spawn times for the mini bosses are still fairly low.
for certain bosses it is 15 minutes seruf (30 mins) + snowman (15 minutes) for instance . how do I know ? I used to farm the heck out of snowman on 19 channels in scania And YES , dropped me chaos 4 times and tons of great scrolls such as overall dex 60% and GFAs .... until big bang came out ....
