It is not up to us to think about what time of the day it is for you, what else you could be doing (like sleeping or being at the bathroom). Whenever you are not at your keyboard your character should not be doing anything regardless of you attempting to keep your mapownership (which lasts about 3 minutes anyway so you might not have lost it to another player).
