Here is the problem, I am not able to finish the 1st Zakum prequest on my new character. I always get dc'ded out of the game, once i got a few keys. Sometimes even before I am able to collect any keys. This problem appears on Windows 8.1 and on my VM running with Windows XP (used Tim's guide to set it up) I never had any problems doing the quest on other characters. I never have any problems when I do Boss runs like Zakum, Krexel... on my other characters. I don't have dc issues in other zones when I play. Did anybody faced the same issues or have any information on what to do? I hope that anybody can help me, greetz~
Perhaps you have a bugged item on that specific character causing the issue. Maybe try removing all the items you can from it, then attempt the quest?
Hmmm, I have barely anything on that character but i guess it is worth a try. I will test it later and report back here.
Tried it, didn't work. Would be nice if a GM could take a look into this. It would be nice to know if this is tied to the server lags, or if it is a specific bug. Maybe it is possible to set the 1st Zakum quest done for my character in order to solve this problem temporary?
If you don't like it, leave? No one is forcing you to stay somewhere that 'sux so hard'. Or, maybe, just MAYBE, you could be grateful for what works on this server, thanks to the hard work and dedication of unpaid volunteers.
I've reportet the issue here. Of course I am upset about this situation, you should be able to understand my frustration. I did say 'this sux so hard' reffering to the situation. To tell me i should leave because I don't like a bug/ issue/ whatever issn't very helpful. Of course I am grateful about the people who try to help running this server. But I had to shout out my frustration somewhere, a forum should be the right place to do so.
You are saying that this bug or glitch is unacceptable. And you also say you feel the server is just bad. So, leave. If you've reported the bug correctly, then wait for those unpaid volunteers to get to it in their own time. They have personal lives that, believe it or not, are more important than the one issue you are having in a video game. You weren't voicing frustration, you are looking for someone to fix your issue and at the same time badmouthing a free service.
I am not gonna argue about if I was badmouthing a free service, if it seems like that to you than I am sorry. It was not meant that way. Like I said I was upset and frustrated because I am stuck to that Zakum quest for a few days now, I guess, I should have waited a few hours to let my temper cool down. One last thing to close this discussion between us. I know that they have personal lives, I did not ask for instant help or something like that.. I will edit my other post to be more objective.
I have never seen anyone with your issues so I doubt it's related to the Zakum pre quest. Have you had any problems on that character elsewhere, mainly in maps that you are alone and with mobs, that's the closest problem affecting many people I have seen. I would also suggest you give it some time there have been some connectivity problems, so it could just be a bad coincidence. We will not complete the quest for you, only time that has been done is when something is clearly not working, as with some skill quests in the past.
