I also believe that TimK acted in passion and not rationally, so I am here today to simply ask for my ban to be lifted because the purpose of my message was to spread love and not hatred. TimK really needs to be more open-minded and stop looking for the worst in every situation.

I am baffled by what you mean by unrelated people? I simply posted the smega that got me banned. This is THE reason why I was banned, so why do you insist on censoring the facts?
I apologize for the misunderstanding. There was no context in your original ban appeal report that said it was a smega and your entire post was rather troll so I thought that that part was also a bad joke. Next time, please clarify that that smega was the reason you were banned in the proper location as that should not be the ban message you are seeing. The ban message would probably look something like "IGN has been temporarily banned until xx/xx/xxxx for profane language." However, it seems your were banned correctly and that your language was most definitely inappropriate, so you will have to serve out your ban.
Personally, I think it's a very grey area and I've found avoiding grey areas are best. It depends on the level of vulgarity, so while the word sex might not be bannable on it's own (as "sex" can also mean gender), the connotation and the suggestions that come along with the word could be. Furthermore, anything that is over PG-13 I would say is bannable.
