How do you know GMs were online on the server and doing nothing? If you make such accusations it would be nice if you could back them up with evidence.
You're right.. I apologize.. I will SS next time But in all fairness, this is a post of frustration. Like I understand that you're only a set group of staff, and I understand that you have to tend to threads, and rewarps, but SEEING gms on during that time, and then having them log is frustrating on our end too.
I'm a tad confused with what you mean by seeing us online though, do you mean you see us on the forums as Staff online now? If so, I do want to mention that this function only shows Staff members who are online on the forums and not those who are online ingame. In which case it could just mean we're checking the forums quickly while we're at work / school / elsewhere, and that we're not actually able to assist with ingame matters at that time.
Maybe the staff should create a robot that's always online and ready to assist with server related technical issues. We'll call it... Shiyui-Bot
Though I understand your frustration, I would like to make the following points: 1) To my knowledge, the GMs are working on a voluntary basis; 2) MapleRoyals is a huge server. It is difficult for the GMs to cater to everyone's needs; 3) (this argument might lead to people cursing me...) In all honesty, you (and me) have not spent a dime in this game. We have not 'spent' any money, nor have we 'donated' anything to MapleRoyals. We shouldn't be complaining too much. They are trying their best to satisfy our needs. What I'm trying to point out is, GMs should be given credit for what they're doing.
I think I know what you mean by this but for those who may not, and to prevent any flaming from occurring, donors do not get treated any differently than non-donors so donating does not afford any special privileges like prioritized rewarping or GM assistance.
