What is wrong with the server? Are we under DDOS attack or something? It has been lagging and mass dc for the past 5-6hours. Can the GM/Admin put some effort by making notice or something to inform us what the heck is happening???

This is a server run on donations without a paid full-time staff. You should simply feel blessed that it works an hour a day; the 95%+ uptime is unheard of in a private server.
Maybe.. just maybe.. use the money that people donated to strengthen the server maybe? Or am I asking too much?
What you're asking here isn't quite realistic, so yes I would say you're asking too much. All the money players donate already gets invested in the server and the ddod protection we use, so there isn't much more money we can throw at it. At the same time the issue is also not the hardware, but rather the old source code we're using for the server. The source code doesn't handle certain processes very well which causes lag spikes to occure at times. We are working on rewriting the source code from scratch for the very reason to make the processing go smoother. When we're done with this we hope to see the stability improve by a lot.
