Crash on free market

My game crashes and gives me some random error code, it doesn't crash all the time but it does 90% of the time.
It's kind of tiring and kills my motivation to play since i'm stuck in the free market loop trying to get out.

i'm using windows 10, if it's even related.
what's the solution? thanks.

 

update your .wz files to fix the issue, if not re download.

 

I already updated them. and I already redownloaded and updated AGAIN.

 

Can you show your MapleRoyals folder? Because it sounds like you didn't update your files correctly.

 

It doesn't look like any of your files are updated. If you've manually downloaded new files, please make sure to move them to that folder and to have them replace the older ones.

 

I swear I've done it endless times already, but i'll do it again.. sigh.

Once per update that has new files yes. It's probably better to find out what you've been doing wrong, before trying the exact same thing as before. Did you use the setup file or did you download the 9 updated files manually?

 

When I update I usually use the setup file, if that's what you meant.

 

Can you please check where the setup file has installed your mapleroyals? It could've made a seperate MapleRoyals folder somewhere else perhaps

 

I downloaded it to program files x86, I couldn't find another folder. I'm confused.

 

Well if you've downloaded the setup file from a few days ago and used it to install mapleroyals, it did not go to the folder that you showed me before. The folder you showed me before looks like it's from the anniversary patch.

 

That's weird, let me check again.

You can individally download the new files on the downloads page and drag them into your mapleroyals folder. You could also reinstall the entire game if you want.

 

As Gurps mentioned, you can download the setup from this page: https://royals.ms/?page=download
On the page I've linked above, you'll also noticed that it states the following: "Page last updated 15th October 2016 at 04:00 GMT+1. " which indicates that we've recently had an update in files.
If you download this new setup and launch it, it should automatically install or update your files to the ones of this patch.

On this page you can see all the wizet files that you need to play MapleRoyals, and you will see 9 files that are written in bold.
These 9 files are the ones that have been updated recently, and are the ones you need to update to be able to play again.
If you choose to manually update the files, you will have to download the new files and then manually move them into your already existing MapleRoyals folder and then you have to choose the option that mentions replacing the old files that have the same name. Once you have done that for all 9 files, you can doublecheck if you've done it correctly by checking the date you've last edited these files.

I have the same problem. I tried downloading from the links you provided Dimitri, but nothing seems to work.. Still crashing when I try to log in.

 

Can you upload a screenshot of your folder.
I assume you dc with the same error?
