Hello. I enjoy this server alot. it's one great piece of work remaking the old school maplestory I played like 12 years ago as a child. But it is way too crowded. i remember from back than, that there were around 7 different worlds to chose from, each one holding 20 channels. this way, if you wanted to play without anybody bothering you, than you could just enter an inactive world find a map and grind your way. But in MapleRoyals, i can barely play during rush hours, and finding a free map for grinding (just got to skele level..) is impossible, making me pay 10-15m just to be able to play (and than DC and lose it ), which later on i must find a buyer for my map when im done, or I wont be able to make profit from my grinding.. Is there a reason you guys insist of having a limit of 14 channels (it was 10 a few months ago, wasnt it?), or making scania the only world you can log in to?
Don't know the exact reason here but on other servers, it had to do with server load and capacity. You can't just "make" a new channel or a new world and not have it cause issues, namely lag and stability issues. Plus a new world would mean GMs would have to split their time between them
I just wished we had more channel... i keep on dcing everytime i log in cus im stuck in FM but its rush hour... so i... cant get back out D:
I always buy map when I train in Skele map as a bishop, 10~15m is nothing if you grind for hours with at least 1 time of full equips sell to NPC, that's around 20m+ if not 24m, I can't remember the exact amount. That is not including high stats eqps like 10 + STR Neos, Arzuna which can go for 20m sitting in fm shop, and scrolls. Same with GS2 and Ulu 2, it's gonna be the same thing, full equips sell to NPC + high stats Dark Pirate tops/Craven/Ades, scrolls definitely will go over 10~15m. After you're done grinding, spend 3m to smega see if anyone are interested on buying it, if no one bother then leave it free and call it a day. You will still earn even after you buy a map if you spend long enough to grind for equips and sell it later to NPC. I usually keep changing channel and shout B>MAP, always get a respond within minutes. I think the competition for famous map among players is part of the nature of this game, it is too easy if you can just login and have 40 channel of Skeles map ready for you to enjoy. GL.
