Limit event rewards to be unique per IP / MAC address

    People like me and many of my friends really are doing this on multiple characters because we simply have many characters that we want to get the 30/30 prize on, personally I do not think there is anything wrong with that but maybe I am being biased.

    As for all channels being full I can say it has happend to me more than a couple of times that I can not go on all my characters during 1 spawn, because many of my accounts have 2 characters that I do pierre on and when I log on my 2nd character all maps are either killed or full. I agree that that this could be an issue if you like me have 2characters on the same account that you really want the prize on and you do not think you will have enough time to praticipate 62 times before the event is over.

    Maybe there could be more maps, more channels or just a higher map limit to prevent this from happening.

    I think that many people will stop doing pierre or at least not do it as much once they get their 30/30 reward.

    The server population hit 1900 today, and 14 channels at 75 people means almost half the server gets locked out. Something needs to change...

    make the event a PQ/dojo like thing for only six people at a time, people would just farm to get a pass to the boss (ofc there would be a cooldown between bosses), also, there would be no timer for the boss to spawn, it would spawn automatically as the party entered the certain map, even tho my ideas are very cloudy in this post, i think that this would solve not only the lagging/FPS issue , but also the overpopulation too, adjustments need to be made, but i'm sure you guys can do better than i did

    I noticed this past weekend with the amount of accounts online nearing 2000 [NOTE: This does not reflect the number of players online] and the with the limited number of slots being 75 and with 14 channels this allows a total of 1050 accounts to enter Pierre including mules. This does not allow half of accounts online to enter Pierre some who are players with only one character.

    I don't know if this is the correct place to give suggestions about a fix for Pierre but I suggest increasing the level requirement to 50 since the Halloween Jump Quest's level requirement of 50. There are multiple reasons why I am suggesting this. First is the overwhelming number of mules in Pierre that make it difficult for others to enter Pierre. Second is I haven't heard a single complaint about lowering the level requirement of the Jump Quest. But I do know this is not a fair argument since the Jump Quest is not appealing to all players, but it is still a part of the Halloween Event. Third is with the fix of only being able to receive a Box by being inside the Vault after 10 auto attacks this would eliminate the number of low level mules in Pierre and open the opportunity for other players to enter the Vault without having to go in 30-40 minutes before Pierre spawns in order to grab a spot during the times of heavy traffic when there are about 2000 accounts logged in. In addition with the unexpected bugs that may occur with channels being broken further limits the amount of players able to attend Pierre. I do know that there will be opposition to increasing the level requirement for some players and I have stated the two groups that I think would be affected the most.

    First the increase of the level requirement it is not appealing to players who recently just started playing on Royals or for those who do not often play and have yet to reach level 50. For these players I would like to suggest that even with the limited time a one may have to play Royals should not hinder one's ability to reach level 50. Then I can see the argument of player who are restricted to a timeframe which they are able to play Royals thus only have time to attend Pierre, but the time which Pierre will spawn is not set and will continually change due to server checks. So for those who are limited on time will feel cheated once the timer of Pierre changes and doesn't fit their schedule but can use this time to train to level 50 and wait till Pierre's spawn realign with their given time constraint. The argument of being limited on time is difficult for an event like this already for players due to the eventual change of Pierre's spawn time.

    The second group of people I would see this having a negative influence on would be those who play this game due to the social aspect and level up once every couple of days or weeks. For these players I do not have a viable argument on how they are able to overcome the new level requirement but I can make a suggestion to socialize while training together since PQs are the most efficient way to level and are a great way to meet new people. Other than that I do not have a viable solution for the players that fall into this category so I apologize if there is a new level requirement implemented.

    Those are the only two groups of players that would be heavily affected by a new level requirement, but increasing the level cap should lower the amount of mules at Pierre and benefit players like Hampa.
    This would benefit the players who are aiming to turn in 30 boxes for the ring and discourage players who are making level 15 mules for the sole purpose of event prizes and taking up the already limited spots for others who want to be able to participate in the event. With the level increase it would avoid having to increase the limit of players of Pierre thus not making the lag issue worse for players.
    Looking for any feedback and suggestions for Pierre.

    I addressed this in my arguement
    Increasing the minimum damage dealt (number of hits) does not solve the issue of mules in Pierre but it will help taking Pierre down faster

    Personaly I think new players would not be excluded just because the're is a minimum level requirement at 50, this is not a very hard level to achive and the even lasts for 1month.

    Increasing the damage that needs to be dealt, all this is doing is giving out less pumpkins to people who are already inside, how could that possibly be a good thing? If the people are just there trying to get 30 boxes they will now have to atend even more pierres in order to get there because they fail to hit enough. This will just make it even harder to get inside pierre in the end.

    We have been discussing possible solutions to the problem and have decided to increase the level requirement in the next server check. The staff have agreed on it being at least 30, although personally feel it should be either 40 or 50. We will note what we have changed it to in the server check announcement.

    venomous star/stab also procs on the "adds" in his room and kills them insta basically dunno if its a bug or meant to be like that

    It does not take long for a new player to reach lvl 30 or even 50, especially if that's your main character.
    At the moment we've seen players make over 9 mules at lvl 15 just to enter this map, thus taking away the ability for some players their main's to join this event.
    We have to limit it in some way as it is a tad ridiculous if I may say so, thus we will likely increase the level requirement.
    Another thing I'd like to add is that most of our events are already only available to lvl 3o or lvl 50 characters and above.

    Will event be still avalible for those one, who had access to it (my full int lvl 20 rogue done like 18 from 30) or i should start working on lvl it to 30 (or what lvl), coz it will not be fast?

    It doesn't kill them instantly, but the additional mobs are just there for the sake of it. They're not much of an issue, nor are they correlated with giving the pumpkin box from Pierre, so I don't see an issue of them being able to be killed easier by NLs/shadowers with venomous star/stab imo. I find it fun to run around the bottom and kill them, plus in a way it helps to keep the lower level mages from dying so easily since they do ~100-200 damage or more.

    i think the minimum number of hits being significantly being increased would help alot. Maybe something like 50 hits. Anyone actually participating in the event would easily be able to hit pierre 150+ times so 50 hits shouldnt be an issue for anyone who is actually participating in half the Pierre run. Also since people will now have to spend way more time on each mule to hit 50+ times, it would be very difficult and tedious for them to successfully receive the prize on 8+ mules. Not to mention Pierre will die quicker since people will be afraid of not hitting the 50 mark. I dont know, 10 just seems way to easy to me, it literally takes like 15 seconds to hit it 10 times.

    Also + 1 for the higher lvl requirement

    We have set the level requirement to 40 to be able to enter the Pumpkin Vault.

    I thought about also increasing the requirement of the minimum number of hits to Pierre but there are some issues with that

    1. Increasing the minimum number of hits will increase the lag issue. As much as we do no not like having afkers in Pierre but the people who are afk in Pierre are actually helping reduce the amount of lag near Pierre. If the minimum amount of hits needed is to increase, there will be more people attacking Pierre at the same time thus increasing the lag and possible dc for some people.
    2. There needs to be a big buffer for Pierre for some people due to lag and increasing the minimum number of hits needed is decreasing the buffer number from 9,250 to 6,250 which is a significant amount. As people lag in Pierre there are times auto attacks do not register and by increasing the minimum number of hits required severely punishes those who experience heavy lag.
    3. As Sila pointed out
    When real life calls having the minimum 10 hit requirement is not as oppressive to the player as having a 50 hit requirement.
    4. Lastly going back to lag/fps if you read the Latest Failure Thread some people already have a difficult time hitting Pierre 10 times already.

    Yeah pierre has been an issue for me because i lag really hard when i get closeso i tend to get my 10 hits in an run away as to not dc. And I am glad there is the level 40 limit because there were times where I would dc and couldnt get back into the room due to the number of people losing my spot.

    I see I understand, although I don't quite agree with the RL calls thing. I had no idea fps lag was a thing since it seemed to me the player limit per map was not too high. Oh well at least the higher level limit will help alot
