I'm sure many of us have this question, or found the answer in a not straight forward way. I have my own conclusion regarding this topic, but I'd like to hear what other people have to say. Sure there are other thread that touched or cover part of this discussion, but I haven't found all the answers in one location. Here is the situation. The popular single target bossing DPS are the following (not in order from highest to lowest, just a list): Nightlord Hero Bow master Dark night Corsair Islander/super beginner (trolling) Let's share what everyone thinks from high to low DPS in the following cases. Let's leave the "fun" factor out so we won't have to argue that NL and Hero are boring just pressing one skill: Case 1: Lv 180 solo with MW20, perfect weapon, and self buff only no buff mule. Assume no knockback, no jumping on and off from ship, no rebuff delay, and with appling. Case 2: Lv 180 solo with MW20, perfect weapon, self buff, with SE mule, and without SI mule. Assume no knockback, no jumping on and off from ship, no rebuff delay, and with appling. Case 3: Lv 180 solo with MW20, perfect weapon, self buff, with SI mule, and without SE mule. Assume no knockback, no jumping on and off from ship, no rebuff delay, and with appling. Case 4: Lv 180 solo with MW20, perfect weapon, self buff, and with SE and SI mules. Assume no knockback, no jumping on and off from ship, no rebuff delay, and with appling. What do you guys think the DPS from high to low in four different cases above? (Yes I know I left out Echo)
I'm just going to be assuming you mean that Krex doesn't attack when you say "assume at Krex without knockback". Spoiler: Case 1 Corsair Bowmaster NL Hero Dark Knight Spoiler: Case 2 NL Corsair Bowmaster Hero Dark Knight Spoiler: Case 3 Corsair Bowmaster Hero (very close to BM) Dark Knight NL Spoiler: Case 4 Corsair NL Bowmaster Hero Dark Knight I'm not really sure whether MMs would fit in below the warriors, and I'm also not sure where exactly NL would go in Case 1, although I think what I listed is correct. I would normally refer to this thread but it seems that the Google doc isn't available to the public anymore. Also, are you assuming that SE is available for the BM/MMs in all the cases?
Yes. I changed the wording to self buffing only in cases with no SE provided. So bm and mm can self buff SE
I've seen and read this thread before. I drew my conclusion from using that and many other sources, but it wasn't a straight forward answer that some people may be looking for. Not everyone has access to all the best party buffs at all time, so I hope this will help othesr summarizing in a more straightforward way.
As I mentioned, I'm talking about what most people are making, the popular ones. I'm not trying to dis credit other classes. my main was bucc and pally in gms, so I love those classes. (I'm in the process of making a mace pally atm haha).
The first eye of krexel is weak to ice (which is the paladin's weakest element) and strong to fire. The second eye is strong to every element which makes paladin very weak as they can't use any charge.
You can't really check dps on bigfoot though since it's mostly about how you pin him and stuff and for ranged classes you can miss hits. There are several more bosses with elemental weaknesses like anego or pianus and other area bosses.
i'll say this, corsairs are very very strong when you leave out vital game mechanics like getting hit. It is possible to calculate the exact difference for all of your scenarios since you are not taking into account that you actually get hit in this game, it shouldn't be that hard i think.
