Just bought a new $1400 laptop. Downloaded MapleRoyals, double clicked MapleRoyals.exe and I get the following error : "failed in finding proper screen mode for gr2d". I have the latest graphic driver installed. I have the latest DirectX installed. I've tried to change compatibility to Windows XP / 98/ME / Vista / 7, I get the same error with all of them. I ran the Setup.exe and nothing happens. Solution, please?
I did not change the screen resolution. It's a brand new laptop, didn't touch anything. Updated all the drivers, they're all up to date. MapleRoyals works on VMware but in a resolution of 640x480 which is too small I can't see anything. I want it to work on my BRAND NEW LAPTOP ! I paid lots of money for it and it's a pretty strong one.
