For anyone who is not aware of the events that happened yesterday, there were a large amount of illegitimate of AP resets and TP rocks that were distributed to players in the server. I assume that despite the call to return them to the GMs to be destroyed, a large amount stayed in circulation (Could I be wrong?) For the already cheap AP resets (~8m each, at 1 nx: 2.58k meso vs the 1:3k standard), prices have dipped even lower. Following yesterday's events, I would imagine it would encourage the legitimate AP resent sellers to opt to sell nx in other routes, or to use it for gachapon tickets. This means that if I were to buy AP resets in the next few days (or who knows how long before the illegitimate AP resets are used up), there is a good chance that some AP resets I would be getting are illegitimate. 1) Should I worry about getting banned buying them? 2) If not, it feels wrong to buy them anyway.
You're overthinking this, the gms can check trade logs and chat logs if needed and if your intent is genuine then you'll be fine. I wouldn't worry if I were you.
There are indeed illegal AP resets in circulation however we wouldn't take actions towards you if you happened to purchase a few of them from a source that you deemed legit, for example from some lvl 100 character that looks decently established. If you purchase 100+ ap resets for a cheap price from a lvl 16 character that has nothing besides beginner clothing you might face losses on your end if we do delete them after checking their source though. We basically ask everyone to make proper judgement of the seller and the origin of their merchandise before you make a purchase.
