What was your first MapleStory private server you've played?

Started on dagonMS. One of the few v55 servers that survived for quite abit after Odin. I went onto SydneyMS afterwards, and probably quite a few others which I didn't stay for long cos it went offline before coming here.

CareStory. It was a v.55 (or maybe .62(?)... I can't remember) server also with stuff like rebirthing, unlimited Flash Jumps, and a free GM Hat (yeah, that everyone gets when they start the game).

Good, fun stuff. But after I quit that server, I didn't touch MapleStory again until Royals. (And this is definitely better, by far.)

This is my very first time playing Maple Story, so far I'm enjoying it
I've never experienced playing the original version. I discovered this game, because of my friend who invited me to play.

 

I had started with ClassicMS back in the summer of 2014 and had came to Royals by the end of that same summer. I don't think ClassicMS is even around anymore; it was pretty small and mediocre.

 

I think its the right order of the servers I played on from end of 2007 and out:
SLPinStory
BounceMS (2 years)
ForeverMS (1 year)
Leafstory(I think that was the name)
BucketMS (I think that was the name)
NightSoulMS
since start of 2014: MapleRoyals <3

Also had my own server for a while but it wasnt very good and not that popular(record was like 18-20 online once )

 

Back when Private servers first came out, my buddies first downloaded a high rate one (ArberMS) just to see how things were and then we went to Maple Classic (Different from ClassicMS) for awhile, and then after lag and stability made me lose interest, later on with another friend I went to CztStory or something for awhile. All the other servers I merely tried or gave up after a few days.

 

seems like no one ever played CitrixMS. I played in there back in 2007-2008. then I joined FarmerStory for some months too in 2008-2009. I used to play both global and private servers, just to fool around. I have so many good memories on both too. specially the crazy rebirth system and chicken currency in farmerstory.

 

I can't remember this first one. I played a bunch of them until I decided which one I preferred. So I stuck with Bankai Story. Previously, it was called HitsuMS, then they just changed the name.
I liked it cause I like Bleach so it was perfect
It was a great server. Very social. Rebirthing and easy NX.
I believe I was in middle school / going into HS.

 

My first sever is ExtaliaMs..it was the best sever that i really love but sadly it got shut down due.

 

My first private server was a small server called SnailMS.
Then it was Farmerstory.
Then Bucket.
Then TranquilityStory.
And now MapleRoyal

 

Rydah and Bankaistory. Miss the tetris system x)

 

I originally played on Maplegeek, one of OdinMS' similarly low rate contemporaries (as one of the few Axe Crusaders.) And then it got revived a couple years later for a while before dying again. Then I played Extalia for like a month. I check back in to see it wiped off the face of the earth.

Does that mean I can afflict private servers with a curse of inevitable death?

 

farmer/pokemon story were the best private servers ever imo. original "classes" and currency and literally the whole game felt like a different game. really really well designed

 

Royals is the one and only bae

 

Man Extalia was fun.

 

I tried a few private servers back when I was like 16 years old (feels old man). The only names I remember is MapleCrusade as well as DagonMS.

 

xDreamer was the first private server I played!
