My account was reported hacked by me but it was a mistake

I reported my account hacked as I thought someone had changed my pin. I started a conversation with GM John and he told me it was not hacked unless it was someone who used the same computer as me and he then told me my pin. I thanked him and figured out it was my boyfriend who had changed the pin. I tried to log in the next day and I got a ban message saying my account has been perma banned due to serious rule infraction.

 

May I ask why your boyfriend changed your pin, and how he got access to this information?

 

Him and I play on the account together and he said he changed it because we havent changed it from the start. I was going on to gach and he was at work so I immediately thought the account was hacked rather then it being him simply changing the pin ..

 

So the both of you have been playing on the same account rather than seperate ones, does this mean the both of you have gained level up experience on this account?

 

Okay this is starting to get embarrassing. I get where this is going and I know how this may seem but honestly I don't have a boyfriend :/ I sort of made that part up because I was too embarrassed to tell you guys I just forgot my pin. Initially I seriously thought I was hacked because I tried the pins that I thought I used but it's been so long since I played that i guess I just forgot..

I'm sorry for causing any of you guys any trouble but I honestly just wanted to go on and see how much NX I saved up.. I've never hacked, I only have this account and I vote once a day. You can see I only log in from my same computer.. it was just a mistake and I'm sorry I lied about the boyfriend. I was just too embarrassed to tell you guys I forgot my pin.. please I just want to play my character again.

 

Please can anyone help me! I have no history of hacking or anything on my account.

 

Since you have changed your entire story all of a sudden, we will have to investigate which of the 2 stories is true and which one is not.
This might take some time but you will be notified once we have a reply for you.

Based on what I found in the chatlogs, I do believe you have been sharing this account and thus you will not be unbanned.
Since the accountname has Darren in it, we assume he is the original owner of the account.
And with that, we take the following logs as evidence for Oscar playing on Darren's account rather than Darren himself.

I am Darren, Oscar is my younger brother who's helped me gach as well as do some quests before. Is that what I'm being banned for?

 

Well yes, that would count as account sharing and since he has actually played on your characters it falls under the category major abuse.

 

So anyone account who has had more than 1 person use it at any time gets perma banned including admins?

 

Well yes, that's what the rules we've all agreed to state.

 

Okay, well since its perma banned from my bro playing on it can you just delete my account and everything related to it. and could you also direct me to how I can delete my maple royals forum account and everything else.

 

I'm afraid we do not delete accounts, so I can not assist you with that.

 

So you guys perma banned my account for letting my little brother on it and then you just leave it dormant for no reason? At least tell me how I can delete my forum / website account.

 

I'm afraid us keeping accounts intact is not for no reason.
We log each ban we land with the character's name, and use this log to see if players have a ban history.
If you are permanently banned and we delete your account and thus your characters, other players could take this name and cause us to think they somehow got unbanned.
This would result in us banning innocent players which is not something we want to do.
For this reason we do not delete accounts, this also goes for forum accounts since you have appealed your ban.
