So I have a mac and Ive been trying so many different thing to get royals to run, Ive tried getting the windows files and used wine but I just cant figure it out. I can download files and all that but never get the game to start up. Anyone got advice or a walkthrough that is up to date, I can only find old forums and don't know if they are reliable. Any info or help you can give is much appreciated
Here is what I have done 1. Download the mac client from https://royals.ms/?page=download . Try running the MapleRoyals client, if it doesn't work, then continue with further steps 2. Find the MapleRoyals client, right click it, show package contents, and click on wineskin 3. Now in wineskin menu, click on 'advanced', go to 'options' tab, and checkmark the last option 'Force use of installed xQuartz ..' 3.5 You may need to install xQuartz if you don't have it 4. Close everything and then click on MapleRoyals client to start up That is what worked for me. For reference, I am running OS X El Capitan
I had my MapleRoyals client running, but now when I try to open it, it closes instantly. How did you update the WS9Wine?
