So I haven't seen one of these yet but can you guys help me put together a list of important quests that give necessary equips for leveling? Like the lvl 70 quest chain in NYC that gives deputy star lvl 30 quest in kerning that gives ragged cape I think PPQ spam should have a notable mention for those of you who can't afford Zak hat, spam pirate party quest for a good hat. Please help add to this list it's appreciated
1) Just to clarify, the quest chain in NYC does NOT give a dep star. You simply turn in the items via "Lost in Translation", all in one go. Also, the quest is pretty difficult to complete. But, if we're including PQs into this, I guess you can also include ZPQ for Zakum Helm and HTPQ for HT pendant. Here are some of my "necessary quests" that I always do no matter what character I play. (Lv 20) Ming Ming's First Worry - Henesys: Hunt Pigs on Pig Beach, Hunt slimes around Ellina, and hunt bubblings in kerning. (Lv 20+) Kerning Jump Quests - free fame and easy. (Lv 42+) Kerning: Icarus Quest Series - Icarus Cape which boosts walk speed - Tableclothes and Medicine with Weird Vibes can be found in Kerning Subway Tunnels, Alligator pouches and herbs are found in the swamp. (Lv 35+) Sleepywood Secret Book - Sauna Robe (for unfunded 100% DEX/INT/STR/LUK scrolling) - Banana/Cursed Eye Tails can be hunted around Ellina (Lv 30+) Sleepywood Jump Quest - John at Lith Harbor Hunting Cursed Dolls (Ellina) - 100, 200, 400 - Zombie Lupins, good place to grind anyway + Free lv 40 class helm. (Lv 35+) Ludibrium - Cleaning Up EoS Tower (Lv 35+) Ludibrium - Toy Soldier's Walnuts Both are straight forward quests that can be done after exploring the top floors of Ludi tower. I'll add more as we go. Hopefully someone can do a compendium of sorts for this!
The saunarobe is not that great, you'd be better off with the bathrobe you can huy in showa due to the lvl requirement and +10 speed. The quest however you need to complete in order to do the hunting cursed dolls quest you mentioned, which is a great quest to do. Also, the first jq from john is at lvl 15.
The levels I posted above are recommended levels, not levels when the quests become available. I assume to make it to Sleepywood (alive and on the first attempt!), one should at least be around lv 20 or so.
I'd recommend these: Urban Jungle LVL80+ Talk to Jack Masque in NLC, kill 100 wolf spiders, receive 5 fame and some +12wa attack pots The first time you complete it, you can immediately repeat it. From then on it's every 3 days to do it again. You only get +2 fame each time you repeat it. Wolf spiders is a great place for most classes to train so you might as well get some free fame while you're at it. An Unknown Love LVL85+ Talk to Jane Doe in Kerning hospital, give her 100 binding bridles (dropped by master death teddy in Ludi), receive 30% overall int and 30% glove dex. You should easily get 200 binding bridles during the papulatus prequest. Make some easy mesos.
