Closed Ban Appeal (auto-ban)

    Last thing you did: Training on Teddys in Ludi.
    Why do you think you got banned?: My brother, using the same IP, got auto-banned for damage.
    Ban message when attempting to log in: "Your account has been permenantly banned for serious violation of the rules.
    Details: Autoban bralley: high damage"
    What GM banned you (optional): Auto-ban
    Additional Information: I understand that my brother did something on his account, but since this is an IP ban, it banned me as well, but I haven't violated any rules. I've really been enjoying my time playing Royals, coming back to V62 after quite a few years away. I've also donated a few times (tag post here: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/donator-tag-pls.84014/). I'd be forever grateful if I could get my individual account unbanned.

    Hey Admins & GMs,

    I understand that you're busy but I've been waiting for some action on this for over 12 hours while other appeals submitted after mine have gotten responses right away.

    Is anyone available to take a look at this? I really just want to get back to lvling my cleric. :'(

    Do you have any other IP you can play from? Even if it is proven that you were two different people, we cannot unban that IP again as it would allow your brother who hacked to play again as well.

    Makes sense - I do have a private VPN that I can use. Should I send you the info? Also, we updated our photo with our names, IGNs and today's date on our whitelist app, but I don't think that matters now since he'll still be banned.

    Thanks @Tim! I just tried to login but I'm unable to get past the character selection page - getting an error message that says “You have been disconnected from the log in server. Please try again later."

    Anything you can do here or anything else I need to do? @Jeen Are you able to help me here?

    disable your unused network adapter, its giving you a 00-00-00-00-00-00 MAC address

    @Tim I thought that might be it after looking at other threads, but I couldn't find a step-by-step that matched the menu options I have on my Mac. Any suggestions on how to do this?

    I found the "Make this service inactive" setting for everything but my wifi, but I'm still getting the error message, even after restarting.

    I believe it's my VPN's MAC address that's coming back all 0s and there doesn't appear to be a way to change it. :/
