As most of you know, XMEN: Days of Future Past was recently released in theaters.
I would like to discuss something that I find intriguing,
and would like to hear your opinion as well.

CAUTION: SPOILERS. You have been warned
At the final scene, Wolverine is lifted from his watery grave by the military, which includes Major Striker.
Although, Major Striker is actually Mystique, as shown by the yellow shade of iris.
The Privates ask Major Striker what should they do with The Wolverine, and she replies "I'll take it from here".
Now, here is my question: Is the Striker whom has performed experiments on Wolverine actually Mystique, or does she let him go?

I feel like she let him go because it wouldn't make sense for her to perform those tests on him, and how would she have gotten the knowledge to do so anyways?

I also feel like she let him go, but if she did then he's not the same Wolverine with adamantium bones. So basically he's not as powerful as he used to be, which is unfortunate. Basically all the previous movies didn't happen because he changed the past, including XMen Origins.

May I say, though, that this movie exceeded my expectations. It was a lot better than I expected.

I think the writers intentionally left it out to provoke discussion, because if I were Wolverine, the first thing I'd do when I wake up in the alternate future is check if my claws were adamantium. I do agree with Coco and Robb though. This is an alternate timeline, so it wouldn't be a stretch to believe that his claws are made of bone, and that the experiments never happened.

That movie just went downhill (not really, just from amazing to awesome) after the kitchen scene with Quicksilver though. Absolutely brilliant.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED that scene in the kitchen!

    On topic:
Considering the post credits scene with Apocalypse. If Wolverine were to have bone claws, he would be incredibly weak. Apocalypse isn't someone you can fight with one of your hands tied behind your back.

    I'm still curious about this.
