So I've been playing a little while now and know there's the commands /find.... ~mapowner But other than those I'm clueless. Also how does one become the owner of a map ? I was killing mobs witha friend and it then popped up saying I was the owner of the map how does this happen ?
You can type ~help in game to see a full list of all available player commands. The ~mapowner command is designed to prevent KSing in maps. Basically, once you enter a map and attack a monster/use a skill, you can own that map. Once this happens, no one is allowed to attack monsters or loot items unless you allow them to. If you do not attack or do anything for 3 minutes, that map becomes up for grabs and anyone else can walk in, use a skill/attack, and take ownership. If somebody is KSing you, you can first ask them politely to leave while using the ~mapowner command. If that doesn't work, explain to them how the mapowner system works and let them know that KSing is a bannable offense. If they persist, use the ~mapowner command and take screenshots where you are explaining the mapowner rules to them. Also use the ~servertime command to show timestamps proving that the person is consistently KSing. Follow this format when reporting KS: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/new-report-abuse-format-for-ksing.57289/ Also note: summon skills such as Bahamut for bishops, and the other summon skills for Archers and Mages will not retain map ownership, so you must use a different skill or attack.
