So i have a windows, and i see the two options. One of them goes through google drive but it says its 1.2GB or something and its too big for google to scan. The other option is through MEGA and i tried that but i cant seem to get that working either. Is there a step-by-step process of how to download mapleroyals properly? I really do want to try out this server.
It can't scan the file but it doesn't hinder you from downloading it. Since you don't mention what kind of problem you have with mega, I don't know why. There is nothing else besides click to download.
sry, when i browse for it, i run setup as an admin, it asks me if i can see the game clearly or properly. I click yes, nothing happens. if i click no, it says "Unable to gather up your system information. Please check if you have Directx 8.1 or higher installed, then try it again." I think i ahve directx 8.1 or know what it is. EDIT: I haven't made an account with mega, does that affect things as well? ALSO, if i had original maplestory downloaded, does that affect anything in regards to mapleroyals downloading properly?
Then your problem isn't with downloading the game but starting it, which is different. No having multiple maplestory versions won't cause problems but you should never have them installed in the same folder. That file is not the one that starts the game, you need to click on the file called MapleRoyals.exe. If you don't have it in your folder then your antivirus deleted it, can download just that one from here: https://royals.ms/?page=filelist Make sure you disable your antivirus/make an exception for MapleRoyals.exe if it gets deleted again.
