What was your first MapleStory private server you've played?

I guess I'd say FridayMS? I can't remember the server name it was before. Wasn't exactly my first but definitely was one that I actually stayed on for a long while and have memorable things from it. Or it might be RydahMS

 

Originally played on MapleLegends starting last year all the way until June of this year. I went by the name SharpSide. My goal was to play for myself, and I did. I eventually hit top 10 active NL ranks. Even made my own guild on there, which I also have here on Royals as well.

Met some really great people there, as well as my current girlfriend (yeahhhhh 8 months strong). I decided to quit so I could finish my summer semester of school, and I moved here to Royals (gg ultimate SI mule)

 

My first private server was MapleRetro in the summer of 2008 when I was like 12. I think it stemmed off of OdinMS but I'm not sure. Then my friends and I tried a bunch of high rate ones such as NanaMS, UnlimitedMS, and bunch of other ones that I don't really remember anymore. I remember that in UnlimitedMS, flash jump was basically just flying across the map and that every stat was automatically maxed at 32k, which made playing pointless because there was nothing left to gain. The only objective was to rebirth 20 times so that you could have every possible combination of skills. I've been on and off GMS since then and I just discovered Royals a couple months ago when my friends decided to play again. I think Royals is my first private server since 2009.

 

OdinMS, I think it was the first or second pserver? Horrible lag and login ques were good times though.

 

I dont remember whats my 1st private server but I only remember that I played ZakuraMS and ExtaliaMS(But both of them shut down). I had great time to play it and much sweet memories in it even I started playing maple since I was too young.

What is private server?
When I was playing MapleSEA, some of my guilddies getting tired of leveling process quit and join high rate private server.
I never acknowledge private servers. I always have in mind that private severs are non-official/unrecognized where you can do whatever you want with your high level/rebirthed character.
Time passes and MapleSEA starts adding KOC, aran, dual blades, mercedes and numbers of classes whose name i have never heard of before.

I don't play private servers. MapleSEA is a retarded private server. MapleRoyals is the official server!

 

Too many too count. Was a GM in one of them until it got closed but that was like in 2010 or something. I remember DagonMS & RydahMS the most. Before Royals I was in OriginMS as well and was sad when it kept getting wiped and closed down...

I (at one point) was very anti-private server. I said I'd play "real" Maple until it just didn't exist. Little did I know they'd drive it into the ground as hard as they did and "real" maple was no longer Maplestory at all.. Anyway, I don't even remember the name of the first one I played. Early Pizza Slices I tried were NSMS and OdinMS. First one I played seriously was MapleDestiny. Then I found MapleRoyals in December 2013, and other than a brief run in MapleLegends from April 2015-June 2015, I have been exclusive to this server since I found it.

 

I started on ClassicMS. It was a 1x .62 server, and it was pretty rad. The server owner killed his own server though. Anyone who played there knows what I mean.

I played a small server that my cousin introduced me to.. I think it was like... ValkyrieMS? After it got shut down, I played Rydah Reborn, which I'm assuming is the follow up after their server wipe.

 

First server I ever played was DagonMS, free GM hats for everyone 100x rates and no 4th job (I'm surprised I actually remember this as it was over 8 years ago)

 

My own self run on a laptop with hamachi during first sources came out :O. Surprisingly had over 20 ppl.

 

Normally I don't like private servers cause I felt leveling that fast wasn't fun, but after MapleSEA changed so much I didn't care anymore. Quit and played AuraSEA, that was the only other private server I played, it was around 2011.

 

The first ever private server I played was DagonMS~ :3

 

The servers I stared off with were BankaiStory (around 2010?), then TranquilityStory and lastly NightSoulMS. I played the normal game alongside them though, it was mostly just for a change of pace.
