Event December Forum Event - The Annual Christmas Tree Decorating Event

Tis' the Season to decorate Christmas Trees! This month, we are bringing back our annual forum event - “Christmas Tree Decorating Event”.

We hope you are just as excited as we are! Get ready because we are dishing out new exciting categories and giving out bigger prizes. Grab your friends and form a team of 2 to 6. Head over to Happyville and show us what you’ve got.

Here are the categories:

1. Most Creative Tree
Be creative by decorating your Christmas tree with either traditional ornaments or anything you can think of. Decorate however you’d like! Remember, you are only limited by your own imagination.

2. MapleRoyals Themed Tree
Dress the tree up with red and yellow different ornaments. Show us why you love MapleRoyals.

3. GM Tree
Place different ornaments on the tree. Tell us who and why each of them represents the respective GMs. Here's an example done by the GMs last year!

4. Guild Tree*
Bring it on, it's guild vs guild! Unite your guild members for this challenge. Work together as a guild to put up the best guild Christmas tree in MapleRoyals. Can you bring glory to your guild?

*Participants not in the same guild will be disqualified in this category. Each guild may only submit 1 entry.

1. People’s Choice Tree
All submissions are qualified for this category. The Christmas Tree with the highest number of votes by the community wins 1st place. Voting will commence after submission deadline is over.

Winning Prizes
There will be two sets of prizes for each category except People's Choice. Voting for People's Choice will commence immediately after event submission deadline is over. The Christmas Tree with the highest number of votes by the community wins 1st place.

Event Winning Clarifications

1. Participants may enter all categories but can only submit 1 entry per category.
2. Participating in all categories only increases your chances of winning. Participants are not eligible to redeem more than one set of prizes.

Example:
Player A has won 1st in Guild Tree and runner up in Creative Tree, Player A can only redeem one set of prizes. Choose between Guild Tree 1st place prize OR Creative Tree runner up prize.


Where do I decorate the Christmas Tree?
Head out and find Rooney to be teleported to Happyville.
Talk to Rudi to buy some Christmas Ornaments.
Speak to Branch Snowman to be teleported to either room 1 to 5 or
Metal Bucket Snowman to be teleported to either room 6 to 10 or
Straw Hat Snowman to be teleported to either rooms 9 to 15
Please note that only Christmas tree in rooms 1 - 15 of either channels (except islanders) are eligible for this contest.

Note for islanders:
Please head to Amherst Town to decorate your Christmas Tree.
Rudi - Tree Ornament Merchant is located on the left of the Christmas Tree.


Rules & Regulations

1. Participants may enter all categories but can only submit 1 entry per category.
2. Participants are not eligible to redeem more than one set of prizes.
3. Participants may edit their post at any point of time within the submission deadline.
4. Participants not in the same guild will be disqualified in the Guild Tree category.
   
5. Each guild may only submit 1 entry for the Guild Tree category.
6. Incomplete submission, edited screenshot or reserving post will be disqualified.
7. To be eligible to win, participants must submit all entries in this thread.
8. Only screenshots of decorated Christmas tree from Hill of Christmas are allowed for non islanders.
9. MapleRoyals will not be held responsible for any item(s) lost in the process of decorating the Christmas tree.
10. Choice of chair does not include out-of-bounds chairs (e.g. Mudkip Chair or Pink Bean Chair) or broken chairs. List of Rare NX items will be provided by GM.
    
11. Rude, unlawful, harassing, vulgar, obscene, hateful, threatening or otherwise offensive submissions will be immediately disqualified and may face punishment according to MapleRoyal's T&C.
12. The staff's decision will be final and binding.

P.S.: This screenshot took us NEARLY TWO HOURS to create. The Amherst Christmas Tree is located in a normal map. So not only is there a very strict time-constraint before the items disappear, but numerous new players would walk by and such.
But us Islanders LOVE challenges. After hundreds of Apples, us two on our own, we pulled this off. (Notice the falling Apple on his head! xD)

He was an innocent gorilla who was shot to death because a small child fell into his play pit. His spirit still lingers as we pay tribute to Harambe and all the things he didn't do to deserve his death. This tree is for you buddy...

The Great Legendary Maple Christmas Tree
As you gaze upon the most uplifting picture of a Great Legendary Maple Christmas Tree, you can only sit and wonder..... for why and how is such a beautiful and amazing tree born?!

Well stick around...
For centuries, stories have been told that this Great Legendary Maple Christmas Tree was simply born from a creative mind... But not only a mind, a mind of a true genius with an extreme amounts of creative talent. This mans name was George. He in fact was known for thrashing about with an outrageous and odd wardrobe. So "silly" in fact, his fellow peer Vicky would even call him a monstrosity, yet others beg to differ. George being too creative found himself not only being frowned upon for the his eyesore of a wardrobe, but idolized for the amazing fashion sense he has... knowing so the genius then decided to put his artistic mind to work.. What about Vicky you ask? The ugly thing we call Vicky the sidekick just stood about doing absolutely nothing

Yet another Mapler speaks of ancient tales of how every star on the Great Legendary Maple Christmas Tree represents by a real star and its never ending glow... almost like that of a Mapleroyals Game Master who we all truly love and respect(think they'll buy it? Low key doe.. we put some magic over this message gm are muggles no way they know we kissing ass)

Ahhh but another novel reads of how a star is a sign of royalty itself. Could one say the Great Legendary Maple Christmas Tree represents MapleRoyals and the community itself in one picture? The tree(Maple) being the back bone or structure(The Game) and stars(Royals) being the community( friends and all and every MapleRoyals player). Such a simple picture, yet such an amazing one with so many meaning.

Our guild was established not so long ago; merely 3months from now. We are yet small in number, but we are gradually enlarging the capacity of the guild and we hope to establish a foundation for all fellow Korean players out there. Because many of us live in different regions of the world, arranging and gathering for such an event was undoubtedly challenging. However, thanks to the dedication of many members, we managed to meet up and share the fun.

Although we faced many challenges on our way here, what held us upright was the unity and collaboration of each and every member. Just as this tree couldn't have been decorated by an individual, our guild cannot exist if we don't rely on one another. We will continue to hold each other's hands and advance to reach a greater goal. We proudly present our Korean guild [Newplanet].

Revenant is a new guild, created on October 21. We have been recruiting people and having fun together, this Christmas tree spend us about an hour to decorated. this is not only done by me and Ice, also have 4 other members in our guild,unfortunately they had to log off, so we finished the rest. This tree represent the Memories of what we have done so far, we had farm a lot of candy together for Halloween event and helped each other to get as many event chairs as possible, and we love apq so much! also we boss a lot and always help new player to get free helmet.

Exile contains members whom are majorly from Asia countries especially Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong etc. As Asians, we would like to introduce varieties of food around Asia due to different races, religions or cultures. In Malaysia, we have Nasi Lemak, Satay, Durian etc. In Singapore, we have Laksa, Chilli Crab, Carrot Cake etc. In Japan, we have ramens, dangos, takoyaki etc. Most places in our lands are rich with awesome fruits, such as Durian (King of Fruits), Rambutan, Apples, Dragon Fruit, Watermelon, Lemon, Oranges, Guavas, Banana and much more.
