Edit: found a fix.
The quest wouldn't work because your parents want to see proof of love from Nana in Orbis and Ludi (which you can't get). This probably happens to married characters that were not the proposers.
The fix is to go to the pope guy in the chapel in Amoria and ask him for the Officiators Permission. After getting this, the bug will be fixed.
Does anyone know why the mom&dad quest isn't available for some? Any fix?

 

Hi oriatia, if you have time to explore deeper about these quest, do let me know if you hae found out something I don't know. My finals is coming soon and I can't spend time exploring about it. I'm waiting for a day or two or a week to see if any enthusiastic player will make a detail explanation/guide regarding these quest storyline.

 

I'm not oriatia but damn, do I know something you don't know about this quest !
So this all started in the alpha version of the event, where it was just me and Matt on some abandoned server.
So I decided to start my journey and talk to little Suzy, but found out she was non existent in New Leaf City.
After some master magic I managed to summon little Suzy to our world and she told me how some chubby rat mouse called O-Pongo was standing next to her..
I checked all over New Leaf City but there was no chubby mouse to be seen..
Then I went to HappyVille and guess who I found there.. O- bleeping- Pongo !

Apparently right after I met the rat mouse, he poisoned me which has caused me to become delusional and think I'm in New Leaf City.
He ignores my question and he starts talking about how he has 1 last gift to deliver in NLC, and that he sent his mighty steed to search this last person.
Me being poisoned, delusional and in the christmassy spirit at the same time, ask him if his steed 'Pwnzor' is a reindeer! to which he replied 'r you stoopid, i cant afford no reindeer'.
And that's when I decided that versalmas was not my thing, and talked to Maple Claws instead to receive a Maplemas Hat.
The end !

Sorry, it's 6 am and I'm tired. But for some reason I felt like replying.
I'll probably look back at this tomorrow and facepalm, or just accept that I'm weird like that.

I believe you can choose? But you can only get both the cape and nose once.

At least they increase the spawn rate.

 

seems unlucky... after sc 16.12 pigs spawnrate become acceptable. so i can get around 8 quest items per hr (on hhg3). I think there is spawn around 4 pigs per 15 min. Before sc it was, hm, 1 pig per 20min? (totally "fk this quest" and 1 crab in 1 hour of hunting)

 

Hi! Would the orb be awarded to you after 15 or 25 times if u were u successful in obtaining it?

 

15. If after 15 tries you haven't received it, you'll get it on the 16th try. Sorry for the confusion

 

Getting orb is 10% chance at any point, if you don't have an orb in your inventory after your 15th try, 16th try will reward you with an orb 100%. After 16th try you will still get orbs at 10% chance.
