hi all i just wanted to ask if mapleroyals have viruses cuz my antivirus delete the file and says threat removed and if there is not virus some1 can send me a picture of scan?
This thread talks about the issue. Dante, a user in the forums, explained this very clearly. In other words, the file is uninfected, but your antivirus 'falsely detects' it as an actual virus. A workaround to this would be to create an exception in your antivirus.
MapleRoyals has 1791 players online. All the virus scanners in the world cant confirm more that royals is not a virus. I think that all scanners will think Royals.exe is a virus (Not sure) Just have a look at this thread
As explained before, in any Maplestory private server's files you will find a file that your anti virus picks up as a threat. However what has been detected as a threat is a false positive, which means that the file does not actually cause any harm to your computer or you at all. For this reason we advise players to add the MapleRoyals folder as an exception to their Anti Virus, so that they can play the game without any problems. If you don't believe it to be a false positive, I advise you to just not play any Maplestory private servers at all as you will face the same issue everywhere. But then again, I personally would find it hard to believe that anyone in the world would think a server that actively has over a thousand players online would have an actual virus in their files.
