So I just recently donated and realized that there is no way to try on the exclusive dontaor items before purchasing them. I'm not sure if the GMs did this on purpose, however I think you guys should make it available for players to "try on" the outfits before purchasing them with real money. Just my 2 cents
You are not purchasing anything. You are making a donation to the server and as a thank you, we give you credits to use towards getting NX items reserved for people who have donated to the server.
Currently it is impossible to implement a system that allows you to try on the items before you buy them.
You can use BannedStory (MapleStory Simulator) to try on outfits as long as its not a MapleRoyals exclusive.
Sorry John, I am still giving up some money to support this amazing server so I was hoping there was a way to try on the items that you are giving us credits for before we chose what we wanted.
Unless the items were actually in the cash shop, there is no possible way to try before you buy. Maybe in the future we could somehow migrate the items to the cash shop and make them purchasible with one of the other cash shop currencies we do not use. This is something we may be able to look into. But it wouldn't be implemented any time soon.
As Wallou mentioned, you can use maplesimulator as an alternative source for "trying on" items. As far as I know, the codes for most, if not all, the items/faces/hairs in the donator shop were pulled from there anyway. Finding a specific item should not be difficult.
We are planning to add a way to preview donator items in the (near) future. We are already working on a lot of stuff already, and thus previewing donator items will be pushed to a later date.
