The rules are very clear on this matter, so I don't know what exactly you are trying to appeal for here.
If a player shows robotic behaviour, this player will be banned for 7 days if first offence, or permanently if a second offence.
Any player who has gained a competitive advantage by partying with the botting player, will receive the same penalty as the player who was botting.
This is the case here, since you've gained an advantage when you willingly stayed with your friend when you knew his character was functioning without his presence.
For this reason you have received the same penalty as him, and this decision will not be reversed.
