So, I decided to make an I/L mage as my first character. I figured I would be able to mob at 31 and train faster. However, I noticed my thunderbolt only hits 1 on all mobs. I don't know what to do. Idk if there is a better class I can play or just stick it out till I max it. I am brand new to the server and have 0 funding. Any help and suggestions would be appreciated thanks.
Damage from lowlvl thunderbolt is low, but you might also be training on monsters resistant to lightning. Check out this guide https://royals.ms/forum/threads/a-new-adventure-begins-ice-lightning-guide.51505/
Yeah, I/L is one of the best mobbers early on once you actually get some points into that. None of the other classes really have AoE mobbing skills other than maybe a warrior but they lack the mobility that I/L gets. If that is the class that you really enjoy, I would say just stick it out because everyone has gone through that phase of starting out with the slow grind. It does get way better & becomes extremely quick once you hit 45+ & can go to a map called ghost ship 2. The only reason I would tell you to make a "better class" would be to also make an HS mule at the same time that you are making your I/L. Keep it at level 81 once you hit that level & you would be doing yourself a favor later on if you want to sell leech with your I/L or just train in general.
Thanks guys. Yea its kinda rough right now with not hitting with thunder bolt and no I have tried different monsters and everything is 1 dmg. Hopefully I will get it up there and I can actually mob. Thanks
