(*Disclaimer* - I would have posted this in the bug (?) section (if that's where this is supposed to go >.<), but it said I had insufficient privileges to post...) Anyways... I'm doing the whole "put point into HP, then use an AP reset to remove a point from MP and put into my preferred stat" method. At level 24 I should have 140 total stat points (including the starting 25), and as you can see (if my calculations are correct...) 14 of those points are currently in my HP pool. Based on the formulae I've seen in the guides for HP washing, my MP is way above the minimum Max MP stat (it's currently got like +10 or something, so the pic isn't 100% accurate there). My issue is that it won't let me take the point out of MP to put into STR, and I'm not sure why... I've been adding points straight into HP for the past 3 levels (except for 1 point in INT to hit 40) to see if that would help at all, but it still won't allow me to pull from MP. What am I missing? Comments? Suggestions? Helpful knowledge? The answer to life's problems? - Please Advise... Thanks!!!
Im not going to check your math, but I think You dont have enough MP and you calculated wrong. The formulas I looked at calculated minimum mp after 2nd job. This doesn't apply here. Also, a way to fix/check if I am right. Use a AP reset and see if you can take a AP away from HP and put back into main stat. Or, you can wait until you level some more and get some more MP and then wash.
The difference between 2nd and 1st job makes sense... Yes I am able to reset points from HP. I'll wait until I hit the 2nd job advancement ans hope that's the solution. ~Thanks
Okay I've made it to the 2nd job advancement (level 32 fighter specifically), and I'm having the same issues. According to the pinned guide for HP washing, a fighter's min Max MP is 4xlevel + 56. So if I'm level 32 my min Max MP is 184 (32*4 = 128 >>> 128 + 56 = 184). I'm sitting right now with 215 Max MP, and I have 15 extra points I put into HP that I need to take out of MP. So by that logic, I should be able to remove 7 point from MP since each point taken is -4 (7*4 = 28 >>> 215-28 = 187). However I am unable to do so, even though I can take a point from anything else I want. Is the minimum Max MP for a fighter different, or am I just completely missing something? Each time I leveled the last couple times, it has let me remove 2 points from MP (as if the min Max MP allowed is higher than the formula states).
Checking on an AP reset? Yes? I know when I click to decrease mana it shows my mana without the effects of any equips, which is 215 (225 w/ equips).
