I think the Lunchbox (1h Sword) would be a great addition for the heroes of royals to use(Since they cry about brandish 30). Any feedback? It's also a v62 weapon
As a hero myself, I'd want one. But think it'd be quite unbalancing to other classes. The only other class with a lvl 120 weapon is paladin (crushed skull) and that's not a great weapon actually. Lunch box is a great weapon, perhaps, too great for this server.
The problem with that arguement is... What are you going to give me as a DrK for the fact that I can't get Zerk 30, which is even harder to get than br30
I'm not really saying add it, because of brandish 30 or really using that as an argument. Just felt like stating it, and it'd also be a nice weapon for heroes considering they have to use the red katana which isn't very appealing.
In my personal opinion I would think that running around with a sword is more sexy than running around with a lunchbox. You also mention in the opening post that it is a v0.62 weapon. Do you have anything to prove this? As it isn't in the v0.62 wz files.
Lunchboxes are awesome! I've seen the weapon on several other v62 servers, but not sure when it was released in Global Maplestory. I would make a Hero for this *-*
IIRC it was specifically an event-only item. I'm fairly sure it existed prior to v0.62 but can confirm they're not in the v0.62 equips list.

The fact that this vid was posted in september, 2008; and V62 was live in November 11, 2008 is kind of proof they should exist.
Okay well it isn't in the data at the moment and would need to be added. And no doubt we would not allow it to drop generically or even from gachapon. It would likely also be a limited edition kind of event if was introduced if at all.
They were in v0.62, I'm 100% certain. I know someone who had it on gMS in this very version back when I played gMS pre-Big Bang. The question is: How would you make this fair, and how would you get it? I don't think this is needed; Lunch Boxes were simply overpowered. Edit: Ninja'd by Matt to answer those two questions.
You can make it from an uncommon Gachapon probably, and also make it very rare to obtain. Also if it's rare people would be scared to 30% a 400m+ item (Most likely), or you can make some unique forging system which requires the hardest items to get? Just shooting ideas it's ok if they're horrible.
If you really want add it (I personally don't want it), don't do that as event item. That will be not fair, like its now with Brandish 30. Few months ago, that wasn't be problem to get that skill, so all old heroes have now advantage over new ones (personally, changing drop chance on things like that is not fair, because its similiar to decreasing server rates without wipe, so older players have advantage)
