Before I begin.. These white knight carebears defending the constant delay of source better realize that not everyone is willing to sit there and be like 'ah ok np good job' at every grave error of judgement that shouldn't be made. At the same time, these condescending firecracker types who rage unnecessarily need to realize that the delay has happened and they should get over it. Your extreme feelings are known already. Shut up now. Ok so, I just wanna point out that someone mentioned a compensation is not needed because the server is down for not just one but for all and it's for the update of the new source. I hear that, yo. But yo, listen.. I know people who booked holiday time off to coincide with the release of source on the initial date of 1st Jan. Because of how professional the staff tend to be, I ended up thinking that there wouldn't be any issues and if they thought there would be there would have been knowledge and communication in regards to these contingencies. But damn these delays have really messed some people up (aside from the missed NX (zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz *hidden rage*))! I'm wondering.. is there going to be some type of event or something in place maybe similar to some type of compensation? I mean.. the original date was what we expected.. and got a lot later than that as a due date in the end..
I understand your outcry and how much sacrifice you may have made in preparation for this release. To put it the most simple way that I can; please have some patience until the server is actually live. Compensation for lost time has yet to be discussed as we are currently more than at working capacity attempting to finish the patch itself. We will release more information after the server is once again online and running.
30k for every one doesnt sound too good because some people have tons of accounts with mesos/fame mules
Eh I probably feel this way because of how big source was made out to be. Can't lie though I feel let down regardless of who is going to tell me that I play a free server or that so much time and effort was put into it. Effort is put into most things that people dedicate time to and everyone has an opinion the same way I do and whoever is reading does about the source. But anyway, this is just my feedback.
I think a compensation is kind of a luxury right now because we don't even have a stable server to log in, let alone the ability to enjoy a compensation. For now I really just wish that the server is up nicely...
