What's Up people? So i've decided to actually make a proper thread on this parameter error many people are getting. First and foremost, its a known error in v83 clients. SO yeah, i'm not really clear on it 100% but these are some of the fixes i have found from reading. 1)Matt has actually created a fix For this before. Refer to https://royals.ms/forum/threads/lulwut-windows-8-game-launcher.1098/ Basically its from here http://forum.ragezone.com/f921/lolwut-play-maplestory-windows-8-a-946935/ So what is does is, it stops all processes and opens up 1 google chrome tab and then runs maple royals. Credits goes to Matt and Frayza 2)So basically matt has posted this before. It works Well in Windows 8. 1. Right click MapleRoyals.exe and choose properties. 2. Go to compatibility tab. 3. Tick on compatibility mode and choose windows xp sp 2. 4. If that doesn't work try running as admin. 5. If still doesn't work change to win xp sp3 and so on until reach win 7 (also try to run as admin also). 6. Also try rebooting and possibly trying those again and without. 7. still doesn't work... get windows 7 Credit Matt 3)This is abit more complicated. There is this process called Razer Cortex game booster. Its 100+mb but it does the trick. It basically stops all processes unneeded for maple royals to run. Well that's about it for all the fixes so far that i have read on. Feel free to continue adding any but im pretty sure that 1 of this 3 will work fine. Thanks and sincere apologies for any mistakes.

ah I found how to fix it You click on the compatibility and tick it off so it won't run with any compatibility but instead run as your os versiom It seems to work in windows 10 (not sure about other versions)
